SYDNEY (AFP) — Nathan Green stumbled to a one-over-par round but clung on to a one-shot lead after the third round of the 1.5 million dollar (1.14 million US) Australian Open at Royal Sydney. Green stuttered to a double bogey, bogey, bogey from the 13th to the 15th holes in a late-round crisis Saturday but fought back with a birdie at the 16th to card 73 for a five-under 211.
He leads compatriots Brett Rumford (74-70-68) and Gavin Coles (73-70-69) by one stroke heading into Sunday's final 18 holes.
