Bayern willing to loan out Dos Santos

MUNICH, Germany (AFP) — German champions Bayern Munich are set to loan out Paraguayan misfit Julio Dos Santos during the winter break, chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said. "We are considering loaning Dos Santos as it does not make any sense for him to be with us," Rummenigge said in the Munich newspaper TZ on Saturday.
"There were enquiries in the summer from two German clubs and two Spanish teams." Paraguayan international midfielder Dos Santos, 23, joined 11 months ago from Cerro Porteno in a two million euro deal but has been restricted to brief substitute appearances. © 2006 AFP
