US Figure Skating makes baseball internet deal

COLORADO SPRINGS, United States (AFP) — Throwing a curveball into the world of triple toe loops, US Figure Skating announced a multi-year internet partnership with Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM). The deal between the US sport governing body and the interactive media company of North American baseball creates a venture to develop US figure skating internet media properties under the brand Ice Network LLC.
The wholly-owned subsidiary of US Figure Skating has exclusive rights to interactive media property for the organization with the baseball group developing, managing, operating and maintaining the Ice Network website.
