Shilpa–bashing scares Big Brother sponsor

LONDON (AFP) — Alleged bullying and racist abuse of glamorous Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty on "Celebrity Big Brother" may leave the British reality television programme without its big sponsor, the Times has reported. Britain's media watchdog Ofcom is probing thousands of complaints related to charges of racist bullying towards Shetty, 31, who has regularly been reduced to tears by the antics of some of her fellow housemates, and her treatment could even be debated in parliament.
