Viagra, Cialis, Levitra works for diabetics: study

CHICAGO (AFP) — Viagra, Cialis and Levitra, wildly popular erectile dysfunction drugs, can improve sexual function in men with diabetes, a study said. Diabetic men are three times more likely to suffer from impotence than their peers because of damage to nerves and blood vessels. In addition, their greater greater risk of heart disease and high blood pressure can make their erection problems especially difficult to treat, physicians say.
Prior studies have shown the erectile dysfunction drugs can help diabetic men. However, this study further tracks eight studies of Viagra, Cialis and Levitra in hundreds of men with type I and type II diabetes.
