GLASGOW (AFP) — Rangers goalkeeper Lionel Letizi has had his contract cancelled by the Scottish Premier League club.
Letizi, 33, has been allowed to leave by mutual agreement just eight months after moving to Ibrox and is now expected to join French club Nice.
The French keeper made only eight appearances after being signed from Paris Saint Germain by Paul Le Guen, who was replaced by Walter Smith earlier this month.
Letizi began his career at Nice, winning the French Second Division in 1994, before moving to Metz in 1996.
