New Polish football commissioner appointed

WARSAW (AFP) — Polish sports minister Tomasz Lipiec has appointed Marcin Wojcieszak as the new commissioner of the troubled Polish Football Association (PZPN).
Wojcieszak, a 35-year-old legal expert and judge on the tribunal of Poland's Olympic Committee, will manage PZPN affairs until elections are held in March.
