PARIS (AFP) — Russia's 800m freestyle world champion Anastasia Ivanenko has been handed a provisional doping ban following a positive test for a banned substance, swimming's world governing body FINA said on Thursday.
Ivanenko, found to have banned diuretic Furosemide in her system on January 23, has had the start of her suspension backdated to February 15 and it will remain in force until the second sample is analysed, FINA ...
