Sowunmi so good for Hibs

GLASGOW (AFP) — Thomas Sowunmi's first goal for Hibernian saw the Edinburgh club into the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup with a 2-1 win away to Queen of the South on Saturday.

The Hungary international, who signed as a free agent this month, netted the winner after the home side's John O'Neill had cancelled out David Murphy's opener.

Victory allowed Hibernian to contemplate the prospect of completing a Cup double at Hampden in May, having already booked their place in next month's League Cup final with Kilmarnock.
