Prince Charles' wife in hospital for hysterectomy

LONDON (AFP) — The wife of Britain's Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, was admitted to a private hospital Sunday night ahead of a planned hysterectomy operation.
The 59-year-old is thought to be scheduled to have the procedure at the private King Edward VII hospital in central London at some point on Monday.
Camilla recently returned from a 10-day tour of the Gulf with Prince Charles, and a further day visiting British troops in Bosnia.
Britain's domestic Press Association news agency quoted an unnamed royal source as saying the duchess arrived at hospital in a chauffeur-driven car shortly before 11:00 pm (2300 GMT).
