LOS ANGELES (AFP) — Oscar-winning screen idol Nicole Kidman could be set to star in a remake of the Marilyn Monroe classic "How to Marry a Millionaire", it was reported Friday.
The Australian actress is to produce the remake through her company Blossom films and may also star in the film, according to entertainment industry daily The Hollywood Reporter.
The report said the film would be a contemporary re-interpretation of the 1953 classic that helped propel Monroe to stardom.
Kidman, who won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Virginia Woolf in "The Hours", will next star in science-fiction thriller "The Invasion" and "The Golden Compass."
