Another Astana glory day at the Dauphine

DIGNE-LES-BAINS, France (AFP) — Alexandre Vinokourov's Astana team led the peloton a merry dance on the fifth stage of the Dauphine Libere to claim their second one-two of the week-long race here Friday.
Spaniard Antonio Colom took the stage win, but only after being prompted over the finish line by Vinokourov, who thanks to an early rainstorm had managed to slip unnoticed into a decisive 22-man breakaway.
Vinokourov, one of the favourites for next month's Tour de France, finished second to hand the Kazakh outfit another day of glory following their one-two in Wednesday's 40km time trial, in which his Kazakh heir Andrey Kashechkin finished second.
