Giuliani's daughter backs Democrat Obama for prez: magazine

WASHINGTON (AFP) — The 17-year-old daughter of former New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani wants Democrat Barack Obama to be president in 2008, instead of her Republican dad, online Slate magazine said Monday.
Caroline Giuliani, who will be of voting age (18) next year, made her political orientation known through the social networking site Facebook, saying she belonged to Facebook group "Barack Obama (One Million Strong for Barack)."
Slate said Caroline withdrew her membership in the Facebook group immediately after the magazine sent her an inquiry about it.
