LONDON (AFP) — American rapper Kanye West topped the British singles charts released on Sunday with "Stronger", while Elvis fans propelled "The King" to the top of the album charts.

West's single entered the charts last week in third position, and beat out Robyn with Kleerup's "With Every Heartbeat", which fell to second.

Timbaland's "The Way I Are", featuring Keri Hilson, also dropped one position to third.

Kate Nash's "Foundations" held steady at fourth, while "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T rose one spot to round out the top five.
