NEW YORK (AFP) — Seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens will have an MRI scan on his right elbow after feeling discomfort in the fourth innings of the New York Yankees loss to Seattle on Monday.
Clemens allowed five runs and eight hits in four frames on Monday. He struck out two and walked one before Mike Mussina relieved him in the fifth.

Clemens is 6-6 with a 4.45 ERA in 16 games - 15 starts - this season for the Yankees, who after the defeat lead the Mariners by just one game in the American League wild card standings.
