Room with 360-degree ocean view a snip at 40 million dollars

HONG KONG (AFP) — Promoters of the "world's most prestigious waterside address" are hoping to catch a wave of interest in luxury apartments aboard an ocean-going liner costing up to 40 million dollars each.

Plans for 112 "Four Seasons Ocean Residences" will be unveiled in Hong Kong on Saturday to a select group of potential investors, the company behind the project said.

The wholly-owned units range from an 800-square-foot (74-square-metre) one-bedroom apartment for 3.9 million dollars to a four-bedroom triplex penthouse costed off-plan at 40 million dollars.

Annual service charges are put at 98,000 dollars.

The 48,600-tonne liner will offer hotel-style services, and shopping and leisure facilities. It also boasts of "sea views".
