Chang, Stich, Bruguera among Hall of Fame nominees

NEWPORT, United States (AFP) — Michael Chang, the 1989 French Open champion, and two-time Roland Garros winner Sergi Bruguera are among eight nominees announced Friday for International Tennis Hall of Fame induction.
The ballot also includes 1991 Wimbledon champion Michael Stich of Germany, Australian doubles specialist Owen Davidson, Spain's Andres Gimeno and contributors Donald Dell, Mark McCormack and Eugene Scott.
Chang became the first American in 34 years to win a French Open crown when he won in Paris three months after his 17th birthday, still the youngest age for a men's singles champion at Roland Garros.
