Lawyers for Pavarotti kin deny problems with will

ROME (AFP) — Lawyers representing various family members of late Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti denied Tuesday that there were differences over his will despite local media reports.

The portion bequeathed to his three daughters from his first marriage "will not be broken, nothing will be taken from them," lawyer Anna Maria Bernini, who represents Pavarotti's second wife, Nicoletta Mantovani, said.

In his last will, the tenor left Mantovani his three New York apartments and sundry items such as paintings by Henri Matisse worth some 15 million euros (21 million dollars) through a trust set up just a few days before his death.
