Another tennis seed stunned as Haas crashes out in Bangkok

BANGKOK (AFP) — Tommy Haas joined the mass exodus of seeds from the Thailand Open on Thursday as the German number four went down 6-4, 6-4 in the second round to France's Nicolas Mahut.
The Frenchman had not claimed an ATP match win in more than two months but the number 71 had enough game to spoil the day for Haas at a tournament which has suffered repeated pullouts by top seeds.
World number two Rafael Nadal (knee), US open finalist Novak Djokovic (fatigue) and world number five Andy Roddick (foot) withdrew with injuries.
Nadal and world number three Djokovic never arrived in Thailand while Roddick withdrew an hour before his scheduled start in the first round.
The ailing event also lost South Korea's Lee Hyung-Taik, the top Asian on the ATP tour....
