Rangers taught Celtic football lesson says Strachan

GLASGOW (AFP) — Gordon Strachan admitted Celtic had been taught a lesson by Rangers after watching his side lose 3-0 at Ibrox on Saturday.

The home side bossed the match from start to finish and were well worthy of their comfortable victory - courtesy of a brace from Spanish forward Nacho Novo either side of a Barry Ferguson goal.

Rangers are now level on points with Celtic - who top the table by a single goal - but the result, and the manner of their success, will provide the Ibrox side with a huge confidence boost for their title challenge.

Strachan admitted his team did not deserve anything from the match.
