Packers lose running back Wynn for season

GREEN BAY, United States (AFP) — The Green Bay Packers placed rookie running back DeShawn Wynn on injured reserve on Tuesday, ending his National Football League season.

Wynn departed Monday's 19-13 victory over Denver with a shoulder injury after just one carry.

He was replaced by rookie Ryan Grant, whose 104 rushing yards made him the first 100-yard rusher for Green Bay since Ahman Green in 2006.

Wynn had started four games at running back this season and played in all seven games. He rushed for a total of 203 yards and four touchdowns.

Grant is expected to start against Kansas City on Sunday.

The Packers also activated wide receiver Koren Robinson on Tuesday. He was reinstated earlier this month after serving a one-year ban for violating...
