MIAMI (AFP) — Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade, coming back from offseason operations on his knee and shoulder, has reportedly returned to full-contact practice.
The Miami Herald reported that the All-Star guard, who was named the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player in 2006, practised with the team on Monday.
"He did everything," Heat coach Pat Riley said. "He went after it and took a couple of hard hits. He had a good practice."
However, Riley said there was no timetable for Wade's return.
"He is just going to practise every day and when he feels he is ready then that's when he will be ready," Riley said. "He scrimmaged today. He went off-court. He did a lot of different packages and schemes that he's got to get used to again. He looked good."
