Sno vows to fight for Celtic place

GLASGOW (AFP) — Celtic's young Dutch midfielder Evander Sno has vowed to stay in Glasgow and fight for his place - despite rumours he wants to leave in January.

The 20-year-old former Feyenoord and Ajax player has struggled to win a starting place in Gordon Strachan's side this season.

Sno has only started three games and there have been suggestions he would follow the lead of fellow fringe players at Celtic, such as Derek Riordan and Guinean international defender Bobo Balde who have voiced their desire to leave in the January transfer window.

However, while Balde and Riordan have falling out of favour with Strachan, the defensive midfielder is rated highly by the Celtic manager.
