Bruce's Latics move delayed

LONDON (AFP) — Steve Bruce's presentation as new Wigan manager has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, the Premier League strugglers said on Wednesday.
Bruce, who left his post as Birmingham manager to take up the job at the JJB Stadium, had been due to be unveiled on Wednesday.
But Wigan chief executive Brenda Spencer said the move had been put on hold because of "an issue between Birmingham and Steve".
Spencer said: "We thought we would be announcing the new manager this afternoon and, as you all know, it was going to be Steve Bruce.
"Unfortunately something has come up. It is an issue between Birmingham and Steve and, until it is resolved, we cannot announce him as our new manager.
