Knee injury could sideline NFL Saints' Bush

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (AFP) — New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush could miss Monday's National Football League contest against Atlanta with a knee injury, the Saints said Friday.

Bush didn't practice on Friday because of what Saints coach Sean Payton said was a posterior cruciate ligament injury.

Bush was hurt in the Saints' 27-23 loss to Tampa Bay last week. He practiced on Thursday, but the knee was swollen and tender on Friday.

Payton said he hoped Bush will be able to play against Atlanta, although the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported on its website that his season could be under threat.
