TOULOUSE, France (AFP) — Toulouse centre Yannick Jauzion will be out for up to two months after fracturing a bone in his left hand at the weekend, the club announced on Monday.
The international star sustained the injury in a European Cup game against Leicester which Toulouse won by 22-11 and X-rays on Monday showed a fracture of the hand.
Club doctors though said he would not require an operation and could be back in action in a month's time.
But if the injury fails to heal properly Jauzion could be out for up to two months which would mean him missing the Six Nations opener against Scotland on February 3.
Also injured against Leicester were locks Fabien Pelous and Patricio Albacete as well as prop William Servat.
