GLASGOW (AFP) — Rangers striker Nacho Novo signed a new two-year contract with the Scottish Premier League club on Friday.
Novo, 28, was considering leaving Ibrox after he was initially only offered a one-year extension to his present deal, which would have expired in May.
But the Spaniard has signed on and he said: "It's something I always wanted. I'm pleased the club has given me the chance as well.
"Everybody was happy with me and obviously the fans have been fantastic since I've been here.
"I want to stay here and try to finish my career here. I love this club and I'll try to do my best for it."
