LONDON (AFP) — Undisputed super-middle weight champion Joe Calzaghe has admitted he may retire after his next fight.
The WBC, WBA and WBO super-middleweight title holder turns 36 in March and wants to step up a weight to take on Bernard Hopkins at light-heavy next year.
Calzaghe is unbeaten in 44 fights and became the undisputed champion in November after he outpointed Denmark's Mikkel Kessler.
But the Welsh fighter knows the end is in sight. "I have got two fights left - tops," he told the Daily Mirror. "I might even have one more and then decide to pack it all in and then get on with the rest of my life. Who knows?
"There are plenty of other things I want to do. My next fight could definitely be my last.
"I don't want to fight on for money....
