Figo dismisses American link, for now

ROME (AFP) — Inter Milan's former Portugal winger Luis Figo on Thursday distanced himself from a possible transfer window move to the United States, insisting he was concentrating firmly on his current club.
Figo recently admitted he would consider moving to Major League Soccer, with his former international team-mate Maniche, now at Atletico Madrid, rumoured to be heading to the Italian champions.
But Figo, who almost moved to Saudi Arabia in the last winter transfer window a year ago, insists he is staying put.
