BERLIN (AFP) — Nigeria's German coach Berti Vogts admitted Saturday that his future with the African side is in doubt just two weeks before the start of the African Nations Cup.

Vogts blamed delays in paying salaries as one of the reasons he was considering quitting the post he took over last March.

"There have been delays in paying salaries. It would be good if the money was paid promptly. I love Africa, but I don't know for how long more I can put up with these problems," Vogts told the Augsburger Allgemeinen Zeitung.
