Anelka's got it all, says Chelsea captain Terry

LONDON (AFP) — Chelsea captain John Terry on Sunday hailed centre-forward Nicolas Anelka as one of the top all-rounders in the world.

The French player made his debut as a substitute for the Blues in their 2-0 win over Tottenham on Saturday after his 15-million-pound move from Bolton.

And Terry, currently out with a foot injury, was delighted with how Anelka settled into Chelsea's style of play.

"I feel we're getting everything - he gives us options," Terry said of Anelka.

"He gives us pace, and that stretches teams.

"He scores great goals for every club he's been at. He has all-round quality and will be great for us."

As for Anelka's mercurial reputation, Terry is confident the 28-year-old ex-Arsenal striker is ready to come of age...
