Dungy will take a week to decide his NFL future

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (AFP) — Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy said Monday he will take a week to decide whether or not he wants to return as coach of the National Football League club.
The Colts were Super Bowl champions last season but their reign was ended last Sunday when San Diego defeated host Indianapolis 28-24 in a second-round playoff game, the Chargers booking a semi-final date Sunday at New England.
"What we have to do here is come back in March and start over from square one, get ready to have ourselves a great 2008," Dungy said.
Dungy spoke confidently about his team's future even as he was non-commital about his role in it even after meetings with team owner Jim Irsay and club president Bill Polian.
