Serbian filmmaker Kusturica 'buries' Bruce Willis movie

BELGRADE (AFP) — Acclaimed Serbian director Emir Kusturica sybolically buried a Bruce Willis blockbuster movie on Monday as he opened a film festival aimed at countering Holywood's influence on film students.
Kusturica, winner of two Golden Palm awards at the Cannes film festival, buried "Live Free or Die Hard" starring US actor Willis in a "Graveyard of Bad Films", footage on RTS television showed Monday.
The Kustendorf film, organised by Kusturica, was due to see film students from 12 countries including the United States, Cuba, and Britain competing with short films before a jury chaired by avant-garde Austrian writer Peter Handke.
