Senegal's Diouf makes case for better defence ahead of Angola clash

TAMALE, Ghana (AFP) — Senegal star and skipper El-Hadji Diouf has warned his defenders to improve ahead of a 2008 African Nations Cup clash against Angola Sunday.

Goalkeeper Tony Sylva was criticised for both goals as the 'Teranga Lions' conceded a late equaliser in a 2-2 first round draw with Tunisia after looking likely winners for much of the second half.

France-based Sylva, a survivor from the team that finished second behind Cameroon six years ago in the biennial tournament, allowed a shot to fly across him for the first goal.

And he stood motionless seven minutes from full-time as a long-range drive landed in the net to rescue first seeds Tunisia in a clash of the countries expected to qualify from Group D in this northern town.
