Nicole Kidman wants to do teen films

TOKYO (AFP) — Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman, who is pregnant with her first biological child, said Wednesday she hoped to make more movies aimed at teenagers.

"A lot of the films that I have made are adult films," Kidman told a news conference in Tokyo to promote the Japanese premiere of "The Golden Compass."

"I think once you have children," she said, "occasionally you want to make films that they can take their friends to."

Her goal, she said, would be to perform in movies that appeal to both boys and girls of around 15 years old.

"It's fun. It requires different skills," the Australian added.
