Arsenal's Adebayor shrugs off Milan miss

LONDON (AFP) — Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor is determined to make up for his crucial miss against AC Milan by scoring the goal that sends his side into the Champions League quarter-finals.
Adebayor wasted a golden chance to give the Gunners a 1-0 win over the reigning European champions when he headed against the crossbar from close range at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
Arsene Wenger's team had to settle for a goalless draw that leaves them facing a daunting task in the last 16 second leg in the San Siro next month.
But Adebayor insists he won't be affected by the miss. "I cannot even explain what happened. That is football. I had an amazing chance, but I put the ball onto the bar," he said.
