Flamengo want Romario to end his career with them

RIO DE JANEIRO (AFP) — Brazilian First Division side Flamengo want former international striker Romario to bring down the final curtain of his career with them, the club's vice president said on Saturday.
Kleber Leite said they would like to have the 42-year-old after his present contract with Vasco de Gama - where he was player coach until quitting in early February - finishes on March 30.
"For the moment they are just ideas, suggestions," Leite told Brazilian daily O Dia.
"Even the Brazilian national side could be part of the project."
According to Leite once the contract is signed on April 4 the club would see about arranging some matches as a tribute to the player, notably against Barcelona for whom he played from 1993 to 1995.
