Woman arrested for stalking John Cusack: police

LOS ANGELES (AFP) — A 33-year-old woman caught near the Malibu home of actor John Cusack was arrested on suspicion of stalking the star, police said Tuesday.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said that Emily Leatherman was detained on Sunday and booked for felony stalking and violation of a restraining order obtained by Cusack.
She was being held on 150,000 dollars bail, Whitmore added. Police were called to the scene after being called by a taxi driver reporting that a female passenger was refusing to pay her fare.
As deputies arrived at the scene they were flagged down by "High Fidelity" star Cusack, who reported that the woman in the cab had been stalking him, the Los Angeles Times reported.
