NEW YORK (AFP) — US television comedian Jerry Seinfeld was involved in serious accident when the brakes on his vintage car failed, but walked away without serious injury, The New York Post reported Thursday.
Seinfeld, who became a billionaire thanks to the globally-syndicated comedy show named after him, was driving in the exclusive Hamptons region of Long Island, east of New York City, when the brakes failed and the car flipped over, the paper said.
Miraculously, the comic walked away "without a scratch," the paper quoted his wife Jessica as saying.
"He was a little shocked when he walked in and it started to dawn on him what happened," she said. "I was extremely relieved and grateful and I'm feeling very lucky that nothing happened."
