Mosley awaits ruling on sex-sting video in France

PARIS (AFP) — A French judge will render a decision on April 29 on whether to ban a video showing Formula One chief Max Mosley cavorting with five prostitutes from being aired in France.

The footage of Mosley, the president of the international motorsports federation (FIA), was widely viewed on the website of the British tabloid News of the World.

Mosley's lawyer Philippe Ouakrat said that the video "characterises a violation of his right to respect for his private life" and demanded that the tape be banned from being aired on French territory.

Last week, he lost an attempt in a London court to force footage of the incident, described by the newspaper as a 'Nazi-style orgy', off the Internet.
