Bucks sack coach Krystkowiak

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (AFP) — The Milwaukee Bucks sacked coach Larry Krystkowiak on Thursday, a day after their disappointing National Basketball Association season came to a close.
John Hammond, who was named the team's new general manager last Friday, made the announcement, fulfilling the promise he made to owner Herb Kohl that the coaching situation would be his top priority.
"Larry Krystkowiak is a good man who worked very hard for the Milwaukee Bucks," Hammond said in the team's release. "Sometimes despite even the best efforts, the results don't end up how we want them.
