'Hannah Montana' ready to write her memoirs at age 15

LOS ANGELES (AFP) — She's only 15, but teen idol Miley Cyrus is ready to tell her life story in a memoir for the legion of fans of her hit television show "Hannah Montana."
The publishing branch of Disney's media empire, which launched the singer-actress's career, announced Tuesday that it acquired the world rights to Cyrus's first book.
The daughter of US country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus has had a cult following since her television show hit the airwaves on the Disney Channel in 2006.
The series tells the story of a teenager who leads a double life as an ordinary school student who hides her famous life as pop singer Hannah Montana from her classmates.
