IRB formally ratifies Woking accord

PARIS (AFP) — The International Rugby Board (IRB) on Friday said it had formally ratified the Woking accord fixing the number of testIRB formally ratifies Woking accord matches and calendar dates for professionals as well as player welfare standards.

The framework for the accord was laid down by Rugby's stakeholders at its Integrated Season Forum in Woking, southern England last November, to set a foundation for continued growth of the sport.
