Busch cleared by IIHF to play for Germany

HALIFAX, Canada (AFP) — The World Anti-doping Agency has cleared Florian Busch to play for Germany at the 2008 World Hockey Championship, the IIHF announced on Saturday.
The 23-year-old forward's status with the Germans was in limbo for the past few weeks after he refused a doping test at his home on March 6. Busch later took and passed the test.
Saturday's announcement means Busch will be able to play for Germany in their first game Saturday against Finland.
Busch said earlier he had refused the test at his home in Berlin because he had just arrived back from a practice and had already been tested at least five times in the first two months of 2008.
This is the second Worlds for the Bavarian-born Busch. He competed for Germany in the 2007 Worlds and...
