ATLANTA, Georgia (AFP) — Marvin Williams, a standout for the Atlanta Hawks in their National Basketball Association playoff battle with Boston, is doubtful for Sunday's game seven showdown against the Celtics.
Williams sprained his left knee in the fourth quarter of Friday's 103-100 Atlanta victory over Boston that levelled their best-of-seven Eastern Conference first-round playoff series at three triumphs each.
Williams, who scored 18 points for the Hawks before leaving with the injury, took part in a practice session here Saturday but his left knee was iced and heavily taped.
