Gaza militant killed in Israeli air strike: Palestinians

GAZA CITY (AFP) — A Palestinian man was killed in an Israeli air strike in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, the head of the territory's emergency services said.
Witnesses identified the dead man as a Hamas gunman, and said the air strike targeted a group of militants firing rockets at Israel.
Muawiya Hassanin, who heads Gaza's emergency services, said three other people were also wounded in the raid.
An Israeli army spokeswoman confirmed a strike in Gaza, saying: "An air raid was conducted against a group of people firing rockets."
