Red Wings shut out Penguins again, at Stanley Cup Finals

DETROIT, Michigan (AFP) — Brad Stuart had a goal and an assist and Chris Osgood stopped all 22 shots he faced Monday as the Detroit Red Wings beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-0 in game two of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Detroit's second straight shutout of the talented but young Penguins team gave them a 2-0 lead in the National Hockey League's best-of-seven championship series.

Valtteri Filppula had a goal and an assist, and Tomas Holmstrom also scored for the Red Wings, who will try to continue their winning ways on the road when Pittsburgh host game three on Wednesday.

Pittsburgh goalie Marc-Andre Fleury had 31 saves, but couldn't match the perfection of Osgood.
