Thaksin still coy on Sven's future with Man City

JAKARTA (AFP) — Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra sidestepped questions Tuesday on the future of manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, who is rumoured to be facing the chop in an end-of-season review.
But the billionaire businessman and former prime minister of Thailand said the postmortem would lead to changes at the club.
"It's normal at the end of the season that every Premier League football club will have to do something with the team, by strengthening the team," the Thai billionaire told reporters in response to a question here.
"Everything is part of strengthening the team, including coach, players and even improving the pitch ourselves... " he said.
