Another 14 golfers set for US Open

FAR HILLS, New Jersey (AFP) — Fourteen more pro golfers booked direct entry into next month's US Open championship by virtue of their top-50 spots in the World Rankings as of Monday, the US Golf Association said on Tuesday.
A total of 72 golfers are now fully exempt from qualifying for the second major championship of the year, which will be played June 12-15 at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, California.
Those who earned full exemptions through the current world rankings were Australian Stuart Appleby, J.B.
