Real have done no wrong over Ronaldo: Calderon

MADRID (AFP) — Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon insisted Tuesday that Manchester United cannot prove his club have committed any irregularity over the much-mooted signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking 24 hours after the Old Trafford club lodged an official complaint with FIFA over Real's pursuit of the Portuguese player, Calderon added that the move was impossible.

"We haven't done anything wrong and we are not going to do anything. There is no proof of interference on our part," Calderon told reporters.

Since United's Champions League triumph last month - where Ronaldo scored a goal but missed in a tense penalty shoot-out - rumours have been rife about the 23-year-old's potential move to the Bernabeu.
